Art Can Change the World
February 1st / By admin
Meet Tyler. Founder of Denik. If you haven’t heard of them, it’s time to get in the loop. They feature artwork from across the globe on notebooks to generate funds for building schools in impoverished countries. Tyler started the company in 2011 as a full-time student at Utah State University (feeling motivated yet?) and now works with brands like Nordstrom, Urban Outfitters, Nike, Quiksilver, Roxy, TOMS Shoes, and Nickelodeon…nbd. Oh and if you aren’t drooling already, Denik recently finished construction of a school in Mali, Africa and is now raising funds for a school in Guatemala. You go Glen Coco.
During his time at Utah State, Tyler served two consecutive years as Student Body President. He was one of three students worldwide to be named as “Young Emerging Leader” by the Leader to Leader Institute in New York.
So yeah, it’s an understatement to say that Tyler is pretty BAMF, he is also changing the world for the better. Go check out Denik for more deets, good vibes, and insanely cool artwork. And hey, if you’ve got some extra time on hand, you can always submit your own artwork to be featured. Who knows, your work may start to change the world too.
